Privacy Policy.
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you provide when you visit our shop, website, or use our services.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information to provide you with a seamless experience during the repair process and to improve our services. The information we collect includes:
- Contact information: Name, phone number, email address, mailing address.
- Vehicle information: Make, model, year, VIN, license plate number, and insurance details.
- Payment information: Credit card information, billing address, and other payment details.
- Communications: Messages, feedback, or inquiries you submit to us, including emails and phone calls.
- Usage data: Information about how you interact with our website, including IP address, browser type, and access times.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: To provide collision repair services, including assessing your vehicle, processing insurance claims, and arranging payments.
- Communication: To contact you regarding your repair status, scheduling appointments, and responding to your inquiries.
- Legal compliance: To comply with legal obligations, including reporting to regulatory authorities when necessary.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information with trusted third parties to fulfill the services you request:
- AI providers: When you submit photos or details for an AI estimate or claim recommendation, that data is sent to our AI model provider (currently Google Gemini) for processing. Before your wide-shot and close-up photos reach the main analysis call, we run a separate detection pass that returns bounding boxes for visible license plates, VINs, and faces; those regions are blacked out in your browser, and only the redacted version is used to generate your estimate. Your dedicated VIN-plate photo is exempt from redaction because you intentionally submitted it. We do not retain your photos for training. Messages you type to the on-site AI assistant (including follow-up questions about your estimate) are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI.
- Vehicle data lookup: If you type a VIN when requesting an estimate, we send it to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public vPIC decoder (vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov) to retrieve your vehicle's year, make, model, and specifications. Only the VIN is sent — no other personal information accompanies the lookup.
- Live-chat provider: When you use the on-site live chat to talk to a person, your chat messages are routed through Tawk.to (tawk.to/privacy) to MGA Collision Center staff.
- Service providers: Insurance companies, towing services, or car rental services involved in the repair process — only when you explicitly request the introduction.
- Legal authorities: If required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
4. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We use secure data storage systems and restrict access to your personal information to authorized personnel only.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access and correction: Request access to the personal information we hold about you and correct any inaccuracies.
- Data deletion: Request the deletion of your personal data, unless we are required to retain it by law.
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the updated policy will take effect immediately.
